Blank Slate

Moving is hard (add 100 plus temps and it only adds to the misery).  There's no way around it; however it's been nice to go through everything and really purge ourselves of things we haven't touched in the last year and a half.

It's amazing because when we got married,  between the two of us, my husband and I owned not much more than the clothes on our back.  (and of course all the sweet dishes and loot we got for wedding gifts)  But somehow we have filled our first little apartment to the brim with lots of memories, lots of successful and many not so successful decorative/craft projects,  used and new furniture (mostly used) and our first sweet, now giant, dog. 

It feels like the end of the beginning.  But it only gets better and I can't wait for this next chapter....as well as way more closet space.

Here are a few before pics of the empty spaces.  I'll share more as we decorate and get settled.  Let's see what we can do with this next apartment. There are two bedrooms, two baths, and 4 closets I did not take pictures of, because that would just be silly. ;)
